We are delighted that the Saint Nicolas Place website design and build has all gone swimmingly to plan and has been officially launched today. The domain is at: http://www.saintnicolasplace.co.uk For those who don't know Saint Nicolas Place is a group of fantastic buildings in Kings Norton, South Birmingham that recently won BBC 2's Restoration Series in 2004. Saint Nicolas Place is the stunning result of a unique project that captured the imagination of the nation. In 2004 two buildings of medieval origin on Kings Norton Green known as the Saracen's Head and the Old Grammar School were suffering from terminal deterioration despite the best efforts of local parishioners. They were fighting a battle against time to save the structures so important in the local community's life, the buildings acting as the venue for countless local social groups. The lifeline appeared when a group of dynamic individuals decided to apply to be part of BBC Television's Restoration series. We have been working with the staff at Saint Nicolas Place for the past few weeks to design and launch their brand new website. This is a content managed site with interactive flash site plans and image galleries.
